Operating Head - VC Firm - IIM/FMS/MDI/XLRI (12-15 yrs)
Our client is a leading VC firm that focusses on emerging markets and invests in early-stage companies. They are looking for an Operating Head to support their portfolio companies, work closely with the founders and effectively strategise and help implement growth plans.
Specifically
- Enable effective business performance analysis of portfolio companies on an ongoing basis and manage the reporting process for portfolio companies for investor updates
- Support the due diligence processes, compliances, and operations for portfolio companies as required
- Work closely with the founders and leadership to drive long term and short term strategy
- Understand and be updated on VC and startup trends
Qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience with an MBA from a top MBA school preferred
- Background in strategy consulting, corporate finance, corporate development, investing, finance is welcome
- Some experience in corporate finance, fundraising or strategy at a start up is a plus
- Strong operations experience with P&L understanding is required
- Excellent analytical and operational skills
- Strong business communication skills (written, verbal and presentations) are required
- Entrepreneurial spirit and bias for immediate action
- Ambitious and outcome orientation
