Job Responsibilities: - Overseeing activities to ensure safe and cost-effective management. - Oversee management of all operational functions - Creating the Internal control procedures for mapping the fleet. - Analysing the per vehicle revenue. - Coordinates and ensures the accuracy of monthly management accounts - Weekly & Monthly reports for management review - Monitor variances between actual results, forecast, and budget and analyze reasons for variance - Monitor the cash flow regularly - Implement and maintain effective controls and processes within the cash management system for accounts receivables & payables - Ensure accurate recording of all Capital Expenditure - Ensure all items on the Fixed Asset system are tracked and accounted for - Evaluating business plans and strategies for maximizing profitability, revenue generation & realizing organizational goals Taxation / Statutory Compliance: - Tax planning, interfacing with taxation authorities for timely filing of VAT and income tax assessments and filing of various forms, returns, etc. required under various statutes. - Ensuring adherence to the law of the land and preparation of annual returns & forms. Ensuring regulatory compliances, payments of the license fee, revenue share, withholding taxes, etc. - Handling finalization of annual statement of accounts What you need to have: - Chartered Accountant OR CA Finalist - Experience in working with complex organizations/startups and have been involved in strategic planning, controls & compliances and overseeing the business controlling function - Proven track record in the finance team and being an active contributor to management level discussions - Experience of working with SAP or any larger ERP - Working with internal auditors and statutory
