Location: Andheri (East), Mumbai

Reports to: CEO

Job Purpose: The position will be responsible for directing the finance function for the company, in accordance with accepted accounting principles and keeping in line with the goals and objectives of the organization. This is positioned as a key strategy and cross functional impacting resource for the organization.

Primary Duties and Responsibility:

- Exceptional knowledge and skills in the area of Corporate finance; with particular emphasis on structured financial solutions to raise working capital, non-funded financial instruments, augment long term working capital, term loans and equity finance

- Sound knowledge of listed company compliance norms

- Ability and prior experience in the preparation of new business plans and financial models

- Hands on approach to taxation and regulatory issues to enable more informed interaction with external advisors in this area

- Ability to drive Corporate Performance Management - Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, ensuring compliance with budgets & cash flow targets.

- Working knowledge of legal and secretarial issues, particularly contract structuring and compliance issues.

- Ability to review and refine financial policies of the company.

- Ability to review and overhaul accounting practices/processes of the company, increase automation and shorten reporting timelines

- Ability to constantly upgrade the quality of the company's accounting manual

- Familiarity with GAAP, international accounting practices

- Commitment to building more robust financial MIS and timely reporting of the same

- Developing adequate credit control mechanisms

- Supporting the culture of profit focus and increasing shareholder value

- Championing the IT culture of the company as relevant to Finance, Accounts, Legal and Secretarial

Profile of the candidate:

- Gender - Male/Female

- Experience - minimum eighteen to twenty years of which at least years must have been as a functional head

- Qualification : CA/CA with MBA in Finance

- Priority will be given to candidates from IIM's, Premier B School

- Preference would be given to Candidates who are hands on with Consumer Durables, Home Appliances and FMCG Industry

- Age - 38 to 48 years

Competencies Required:

- The candidate must possess outstanding communication skills, presentation prowess, and ability to maintain and build strong personal relationships with senior managers at banks, institutions.

- Ability to deal with international alliance/JV partners and investors

- Working knowledge of ERP/SAP

- Ability to multi-task and work on cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment.

- Organized and detail-oriented
