Job Role : Legal Counsel

OnePlus is seeking a young, enthusiastic and result-oriented Legal Counsel to join our India team to drive and support local campaigns and activities.
Job Responsibilities :
- Draft & solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights
- Transaction negotiation and management (DD included)
- Provide compliance consultation for daily businesses, including but not limited to labour law, IPR, foreign investment and PE
- Assist in establishing and improving the company's compliance policy and process
- Implement compliance projects in collaboration with the Head Office, based on the requirements of local laws
- Dispute resolution and litigation, as and when required
- Selection and management of external resources
- Monitor the changes of the laws and policies related to company business, prompting risks and providing response plan
Job Requirements :
- 3-5 years of work experience in the Legal field
- Bar qualifications preferred
- Strong English document drafting skills
- Familiarity with the following legal domains :
i. Employment Law
ii. Real Estate
iii. Intellectual Property
iv. Dispute Resolution
v. Foreign Investment Restrictions
- Knowledge of Karnataka & Bangalore laws and regulations
- Fluency in Kannada & Hindi
- Ability to work an international/intercultural environment
- Flexibility on schedule and willingness to travel
- Positive attitude and strong sense of ethics
- Outstanding communication skills
