OML - Manager - Legal - LLB (8-12 yrs)
Manager - Legal
Key responsibilities :
1) Liaise with external as well as internal stakeholders.
2) Draft, negotiate and close contracts pertaining to artist management, live events and brands endorsements and production of content.
3) Providing general legal advice on business and commercial issues
4) Build and cultivate key internal stakeholder relationships to better understand business needs and provide accurate, timely legal support to various business units and functions.
Required Skills :
1) Providing sound and practical legal advice pertaining to media legal issues.
2) Experience in drafting, negotiating digital rights and technology contracts, understanding of the regulatory regime in content and endorsement sales would be a plus.
3) Demonstrated (hands on experience) in contract drafting, good negotiation, and execution skills i.e., ability to draft, negotiate and close transactions independently with minimal supervision
4) Should have excellent research, analytical skills and should be able to exercise judgment and discretion to opine on compliance/ legal issues effectively.
Qualifications and Prior Experience :
1) LLB required
2) Prior Law firm experience preferred.
3) Atleast 8 years of experience out of which 5 years should be in the Media / entertainment / music industry.
