Omega - Manager - Litigation

- Preparing appropriate legal documents for legal proceedings.

- Attending and representing the company in court proceedings and other legal proceedings such as arbitration, mediation and proceedings before tribunals and other competent authorities.

- Good experience in NSE, BSE arbitration and documentation related to such arbitration documents.

- Coordinating and liaisoning with external legal counsels, company personnel and senior management of the organization.

- Managing legal notices, keeping record and track of court dates and hearings, managing legal expenses, docketing, maintaining database of cases and keeping accurate records of relevant documents/information.

- Legal Research including interpretation of laws and judgements of the courts/tribunals.

- Any other tasks/responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time with respect to handling litigation matters of EWM Group.

- Proven comparable experience of at least 8to10 years in working with a corporate or reputed law firm.

- Proven comparable experience in handling legal matters pertaining to Indian stock exchange arbitration.

- Thorough knowledge of Corporate and Securities law, procedural laws (Civil Procedure Code and Criminal Procedure Code), alternate dispute resolution (Arbitration and Conciliation Act), and other business laws (including Negotiable Instruments Act).

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
