Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environmental ("QHSSE") function and providing leadership to create and maintain a productive work culture while ensuring a safe work environment.

Also responsible for monitoring and improving the execution of OMC's QHSSE activities, conducting incident investigations and reporting, and coordinating with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines; this entails preventing critical quality issues and minimizing QHSSE-related events to uphold OMC organizational excellence.

Top 10 Responsibilities and Duties:

Exhibit strong leadership and absolute commitment to quality and safety throughout all phases of OMC's operations. Strong communication and collaboration with the construction, commissioning, and sales management to help develop and support the implementation of the OMC QHSSE Management System. The top 10 responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to the following items:

1. Develop and implement quality and safety parameters/procedures for new site(s) to be established, ensuring 100% adherence to them, and manage any deviations from quality and safety standards.

2. Solicit feedback from customers (Telecom, business, and community) to assess whether their requirements are met and identify areas for improvement.

3. Provide guidance, assistance, and advice to the OMC organization through interpretation and promulgation of QHSSE practices and procedures.

4. Monitor the execution of OMC's QHSSE activities and ensure that they are being consistently and regularly communicated to all sites and subcontractors.

5. Conduct incident investigations and complete accompanying reports as needed, ensuring all incidents are investigated and reported appropriately.

6. Develop and implement OMC QHSSE training programs for all employees, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring that they are up to date on safety protocols and regulations.

7. Perform routine quality and safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards or safety concerns in the workplace.

8. Coordinate with the relevant regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable QHSSE regulations, standards, and guidelines.

9. Establish OMC Emergency Response Procedures and conduct regular drills to ensure all employees are prepared in case of an emergency.

10. Continuously monitor and analyze OMC's QHSSE performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.-

Qualifications & Experience:

- The successful candidate must possess an accredited four-year degree in a relevant quality and/or safety field of study, demonstrating a strong educational foundation.

- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a QHSSE role is required, evidencing a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience in the areas of Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority OMC projects simultaneously, indicating excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strategic Thinking: Must have the ability to think strategically and develop plans that align with the overall business objectives. A strong multitasker, the successful candidate must be able to perform any duties necessary to support OMC's business operations.

- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Be committed to ongoing improvement, always seeking ways to enhance OMC's processes, procedures, and the overall quality of work.

- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, as they need to build positive relationships with a wide range of OMC stakeholders, including employees, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

- Trade Experience: The ideal candidate must possess the ability to rapidly acquire and apply knowledge of applicable India regulations, statutes, and guidelines with a strong knowledge of Construction, Commissioning, and Civil Site Works.

- Communication Skills: Highly developed analytical, written, verbal communication and presentation skills with expert organizational skills as the successful candidate must be able to convey information clearly and concisely to a range of OMC's stakeholders, including senior management, co-workers, clients, vendors, and sub-contractors.
