Oliveboard - Deputy Financial Controller

The Deputy Financial Controller is responsible for direct supervision of all day-to-day accounting and financial activities. Primary responsibilities include supervision of processes, Monthly, Quarter and Annual reporting while supervising Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Processing, Treasury functions, GL Activities and reporting. The Deputy Financial Controller will create and implement systems which align with the policies and procedures of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Head the entire finance & accounting function

- Manage & supervise the Accounting Team, our policies and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations

- Creation of periodic financial statements

- Prepare and maintain forecasts for cash flow and projections to effectively manage cash balances

- Create P&L analysis for various business units individually

- Increase efficiencies of financial & accounting processes

- Preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts with help from senior management

- Coordinate the preparation of audits and tax returns with external firm

- Assist in maintaining all corporate records and accounts

- Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

Educational background & Skills :

- Master's Degree (preferred) in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting

- CA or CMA preferred

- Strong work ethic, accountability with team management skills

- 4 to 6 years of experience in the accounting or finance department from a Technology or SaaS firm.
