OlaCabs - Senior Director/Country Head - Ola Foundation

As the Foundation is relatively new, the Senior Director / Country Head will play a critical role in shaping the organization, establishing key strategic relationships with the government, partners and donors, and providing strategic, operational direction to country programs.

Reporting into the Trustees of OLA Foundation,- the Senior Director / Country Head will be responsible:

- To establish and grow a new, independent, innovative, and highly effective social organization with OLA's unique strengths, approach, and culture.

- Identify opportunities - to drive meaningful impact in education, healthcare and livelihood with a focus on women, children and gig economy workers

- Represent the Foundation - to Donors, Government and Non-Government partners for identifying and establishing a network of Partners, Advisors and Ambassadors, and garner philanthropic support from high-net worth individuals and foundations both in India and globally towards - Brand Building and Fund Raising.

- Run the organization through - best operational practices and governance and - position the brand as highly respected, compliant and ethical.

- Manage, Mentor and Expand a high-performing team consisting of Project & Program Managers, Business Analysts, Finance and Communication Managers to meet organizational goals.

- Raising organization's profile within through public communication and thought leadership (e.g.,media appearances; expert panels and other speaking engagements; blogs,op-eds and other articles; etc.)

- Represent the organization in meetings with high-level government officials, business executives, NGO leaders, and other key stakeholders both in India and on the global stage.

Overall Key Deliverable :

- Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives of governmental, multilateral and non-governmental organizations.

- Lead fund-raising efforts with support from the Program team. 

 - Demonstrate leadership, manage day to day operations of the organization in line with governance protocols and best in class operational practices across Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Logistics and Administration

- Work with Program teams to develop annual programmatic and financial work plans that achieve grant deliverables. Support defining program objectives, operations, targets and measuring program performance.

- Leaders who have - demonstrated success in fundraising in India and have the ability to inspire significant investments from large foundations,private individuals, and family foundations in India and abroad.

- Leaders with - experience of scaling up a for-profit or non-profit enterprise in India,including working with a high-powered board, building and managing a high-performance team,and successfully leading the development and execution of programs or projects with significant scale and impact.

- A highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual - with excellent problem solving and communication skills

- Expert project management skills - with ability to move forward multiple complex initiatives simultaneously

- Proven experience - managing a high-impact, diverse team - with different skill sets

- Strong desire to work in a - fast-paced, limited-structure, high-pressure environment

- A confident public speaker - with successful experience - engaging with policy makers, regulators, elected officials - and other key stakeholders.

- Experienced in cross functional working in a dynamic environment is highly desirable. Stakeholder management is utmost essential to be successful in this role.
