The candidate should have handled a national level role in his previous stints esp in Automotive Industry
Responsibilities:
- Custodian of top line delivery and accountability of the P&L
- Work across categories and functions to design and deliver strategic growth plans both in existing markets and white spaces
- In charge of strategizing annual and seasonal sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department's performance against targets.
- Identification of areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for the improving of sales and business profits.
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships
- Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and clusters; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Experience & Skillset
- Atleast 10 - 14 years of experience in building and leading sales teams, managing large partnerships and driving revenue growth and product sales with a total experience of 14-20 years
- Experience working in a similar startup type environment, as our culture is lean and entrepreneurial
- Strong bias for and extensive experience in with data based decision making including funnel reporting, forecasting, metrics and trend analysis to identify actionable insights
- Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills, demonstrated ability to exercise sharp judgement
- Successful track record of prospecting, researching, and qualifying targets, generating sales reports, sales pipelines and funnel management for new business opportunities and markets.
