OlaCabs - Lead/Manager/Senior Manager - Direct Taxation

Job Title: Direct Taxation Lead | Level: Manager/Sr.Manager | Location: Bangalore (Indiranagar-Domlur)

- Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations

- Prepare and review tax calculations for the domestic entities of the Group

- To ensure tax compliances, reporting and filings for domestic entities of the Group

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate income tax and TDS return for the domestic entities of the Group

- Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the Group

- Act as key point of contact and support for domestic taxation matters

- Handle tax litigation and assessment of the domestic Group entities

- Review and analysis of tax schedules, provisions, MIS reporting and reconciliations

- Working with Team and liaising with external consultants and tax authorities

- Provide tax audit support for the domestic entities of the Group

- Review current and deferred tax provision

- Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operations

- Lead and co-ordinate tax driven business initiatives

- Analyze the impact of new tax provisions or amendment to tax laws and assisting in implementing the same

- Take tax training for team members and another team

- Good knowledge of India Direct Tax and Accounting

- Good knowledge of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement

- Strong understanding & work experience in Direct taxation

- Team handling experience

- Independent team player as well, who is able to work well with minimal supervision as well

- Service Industry experience will be an added value

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
