Roles and Responsibilities:

Supply engagement:

- Plan total supply required and forecast supply trends based on demand and market factors

- Understand our supply base and design the right earnings and engagement strategy for various types of supply

- Work with product teams to build the right engagement platforms and capabilities to connect with supply, and improve our share of mind and share of market with supply

- Define and execute overall earnings strategy for different types of supply and work with product to deliver this

Performance management:

- Define ideal performance parameters for supply to maximize customer and platform outcomes while meeting supply expectations on earning, effort

- Design the right incentive structures (and disincentives) to motivate supply in achieving defined performance metrics

- Ensure delivery of better experience for all stakeholders (customers, supply) through right product levers and consequence management

Success Metrics:

- Quantity and Quality of Supply

- Cost of supply (and earnings to partners)

- Retention of suppliers (satisfaction)

- Return on investment for the company on supply spend

- Platform efficiency in the long term through product improvements

Experience & Skills:

Typical candidate must have

- An MBA from a premier institution (or UG from IIT or equivalent)

- Strong problem solving skills and comfort with numbers and analytics

- Customer / Partner facing roles with demonstrated success in delivering growth, RoI and satisfaction; P&L roles a plus

- At least some part of professional experience in internet-enabled platform businesses

- Ability to work with product / engineering teams to translate business requirements into products

- Proven cross-functional leadership and team management skills
