Director - Product Leader Location: Bangalore Job Description: This person will lead product for all of BE. This includes the areas of safety, customer support, and marketplace health. Will be supported by a team of 5-7 PMs. Some details of that: Safety: - Enhance and build on the Guardian platform: a real-time platform to identify risky rides and take action. Involves data science and large data, as well as huge amount of real-time processing of data. - Build other innovative solutions for safety, using business, product and tech innovation, to achieve Ola's goal of making our cab customers feel as safe as at home. Amongst other things, use customer and driver profiles, cellphone sensors, cameras, car on-board diagnostics (OBD) to come up with these solutions. - Build connects with multiple external providers, for the purpose of background verification, document compliance, incident reporting, enabling first response etc. Care: - Build solutions for handling end-user support. Solve for discovery and effectiveness of app-based support solutions. - Find new ways of interacting with the users, including chatbots. - Manage and improve on existing channels such as IVR, online help section, chat. - Manage and improve the existing customer support agent facing tools. Marketplace Health: Lead central policy and performance management products such as cancellation adjudication, driver performance rating and usage. Required skills: Need people with tier 1 Engineering/MBA background; min 3 years of core product management experience in online sector/product development companies Total experience: 8-10 years.
