Ola is committed to its mission of building mobility for a billion people. Using the Ola mobile app, users across 110 cities can book from a variety of vehicles across cabs, auto-rickshaws, and taxis. Ola has also introduced a range of shared mobility services on its platforms like Ola Shuttle and Ola Share for commute and ride-sharing respectively. The app is available on Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Build and plan the short and long term strategy for the Region and take charge of executing it on the ground

- Responsible for Supply /Face of the business in the region

- Achieve revenue, profitability & growth by acquiring and managing Partners in the Region

- Managing the supply function in mapping, tracking, meeting, and delivery of accounts and identifying new opportunities for territory with a focus on market penetration

- Market share growth for the Region

- Expansion of new category (supply & topline for the new category)

- Building a high quality & high-performance supply acquisition channel.

- Coordinate with all the support functions like the product, operations, and marketing to achieve the desired results and targets/goals

- Hire and manage a high-performance team. Objectives of growth and performance are met and productive

- Effectively building a web of our business stakeholders (partnerships and managing relationships with Suppliers)

- Lead, Motivate & Manage team. Coach and review them to extract great performance

- Responsible for strategizing and handling day to day operations

- Create supply by creating strategic partnerships

- Manage key customer and vendor relationships

- Work with the sales team and internal operations to identify and bridge supply gaps including vendor identification and on-boarding

- Driving innovation for best in class partner training and quality supply

- Retain Ola as the preferred choice amongst operators and driver partners by ensuring a win-win for every stakeholder. Identify newer and innovative ways to engage partners continuously

Experience & Required Skill Sets :

- Candidate would be an MBA from IIM/ISB/FMS/XLRI with 8-10 years of experience and preferably from FMCG/Telecom background.

- Strong team management skills required - especially to deal with less educated, entrepreneurial driver-partners

- English & Hindi Knowledge must; local vernacular language preferred in regions

- Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, hyper-normal growth environment

- Experience in handling high volume transactions & large teams

- Strong analytical skills and orientation to understanding numbers

- Strong Relationship & People Management Skills

- Passion to explore in a chaotic startup environment with a Strong entrepreneurial mindset

- Excellent communication skills, Ability to do multitasking and deal with multi stakeholders.

- Handled a highly target driven sales force / Leadership team

- Managed a closely-knit community of influencers (e.g. Channel Partners / Agents / Drivers / etc.)

- Managed PnL and growth of different verticals/organizations
