OLA - Lead Product Designer - OLA Foods & Financial Services

As the Experience Design team of Ola, we strive to craft memorable experiences for our users across all touchpoints, digital and physical. We believe that experiences are multi-sensorial and evolve over time as users interact with Ola across all our services. We work across platforms and businesses: Mobility (services, electric vehicles, fleet management), Food and Money. We are able to achieve this by integrating multiple functions of design: user experience research, product design, brand design, marketing design and content strategy into one Experience Design team.

The Ola Foods and Financial Services experience teams are reimagining consumer user experience. We are creating engaging and meaningful multi-modal experiences for users across the globe and a reliable and equitable means of employment for our driver-partners across the globe. We are busy building a scalable design platform that is able to support rapidly evolving businesses while embracing a diverse set of users.

Whatll you do?

- Co-own the end-to-end experience of one of Olas customer-facing products (Ola Cabs/Ola Foods/Ola Money).

- Craft and ship simple and polished solutions to large and intricate problems.

- Sketches, wireframes, mocks, animations, prototypes: whatever it takes to bring your ideas to life.

- Make your teams designs come to life in collaboration with your peers in engineering and product teams.

- Steer the designs through the entire lifecycle of product development. When the feature/product goes live, collect data and measure success.

- Iterate and exhaust possibilities to find the perfect solutions.

- Work closely with the research team to understand the aspirations and needs of our user personas. Use the research to drive designs decision making.

- Craft, craft, craft! - Push yourself and your team to raise the bar of quality through every touchpoint.

- Identify and execute on future opportunities for Ola, through deep partnerships with cross-functional partners.

- Drive the brand and identity of Ola Design through thought leadership and the design community.

- Mentor a team of highly talented senior product designers and mid-weight product designers

Polished designer and evangelist who can promote Olas brand within and outside the organisation

Designers with 6-8 years of experience shipping great customer-facing digital products, with 1+ years in the lead role.
