Ola Electric Mobility - Director - Manufacturing Quality - Automotive Plant

Job Summary :

Manage end to end Manufacturing Quality Assurance of 2 & 4-Wheeler integrated plants which has complete manufacturing operations related to EV vehicle (Motor, Battery, IS IT).

Key Result Area :

To take full ownership of SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) related to Quality Assurance perimeter of 2 & 4-wheeler plants.

Key skillsets required :

- Must have worked in high volume 2 and or 3 / 4-wheeler plants. Candidate must have worked as area head of manufacturing QA of the entire plant for at least 2 years.

 - Exposure to advanced manufacturing systems is mandatory. Exposure as Manufacturing /

- Production in charge of major shops like assembly shop is an added asset.

- Fundamental knowledge of Electric vehicles and associated experience is desirable.

- Must have managed budget for the whole Manufacturing QA team in steady state and fluctuating / ramp up periods (at least for 2 years)

- Candidate should be familiar with creation of tailor-made QA models. Must have created & implemented breakthrough methods in quality crisis (which has led to significant success).

- Candidate must have handled at least 2 cross functional assignments as manager as part of Job rotation

 - Clarity in communication is essential (both written and verbal)

Must Have : Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TVM, TS16949, Automotive plant IS (information system) integration
