About Us:


- Our goal as Ola Electric, is to enable and maximise the number of electric kms delivered through our ecosystem of products and services. We start with India but our ambitions are global.


- E-Rickshaws provide a unique opportunity to build out our charging infrastructure. E-ricks deliver over 50 million kms of electric mobility in India everyday - no other form factor comes close. As such, our near term goal is to launch a swapping network that serves a disproportionate share of e-rickshaw market (100,000 in 2 years)


- That said, we are building our batteries and charging infrastructure in a way that it can serve all sorts of electric vehicles tomorrow including 2Ws, our own 3W and potentially small 4Ws


Roles and Responsibilities:


- Lead preparation of financial statements under Ind AS and IFRS.


- Lead internal control framework and internal audit activities.


- Timely completion of statutory accounts, tax and other regulatory reporting, fulfilling all external requirements.


- Oversee accounting operations across manufacturing plants and head office.


- Oversee India and European tax compliance including corporation/VAT reporting and coordination of tax enquiries


- Optimise and develop processes to improve efficiency, automation and quality of financial information.


- Optimise working capital & administrative expenses. proactively identify risks/opportunities.


- Seek process improvements and adopt leading practises in accounting operations.


- Lead a team of 20 plus staff in accounting operations.


- Coach, develop and inspire a high performing team


Experience & Skills:


- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Modelling, Pivots, Slicers, Index, Match, Lookups, Macros) and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of SAP/Oracle ERP and CRM and BW and BI Systems experience an advantage


- Ability to take a flexible approach to responsibilities during busy periods


- Ability to proactively lead during periods of change.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


- Ability to engender trust throughout the organisation


- Ability to critically review and improve business processes


- Clear, concise and influential communicator (written and verbal). Ability to interact well with the Senior Management Team.


Qualifications:


- MBAs with Finance, CA Preferred


- 8-10 yrs of Experience
