Ola integrates city transportation for customers and driver partners onto a mobile technology platform ensuring convenient, transparent and quick service fulfillment. Ola is committed to its mission of building mobility for a billion people. Using the Ola mobile app, users across 110 cities can book from over 6,00,000 vehicles across cabs, auto-rickshaws and taxis. Ola has also introduced a range of shared mobility services on its platform like Ola Shuttle and Ola Share for commute and ride-sharing respectively. The app is available on Windows, Android and iOS platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

- The person is responsible for reviewing assigned businesses from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices

- Lead a team of business analysts working on business functions like categories, CSO or marketing

- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results

- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders;

- Measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers.

- Work with business and product teams on designing, building and deploying data analysis systems for large data sets and extracting meaningful data.

- Create algorithms to extract information from large data sets.

- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, model validation, model implementation and large-scale data analysis.

- Develop metrics and frameworks that can be used to drive business decisions.

- Drive Compliance automation requirements with Product and Tech, SPOC for any compliance related development from Biz Fin team.

- Understand, analyze and publish respective business KPIs and daily reports

Experience & Skills :

- Strong background in statistical concepts and calculations with 3 to 5 yrs experience with real data

- Leadership skills & ability to manage a team

- Innovative and strong analytical and algorithmic problem solvers.

- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, SAS,SPSS), software development technologies (e.g. Python, Java, C/C++, .Net)

- Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

- Expert at data visualization and presentation

- Excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly and compellingly verbally and in written form.

Qualifications

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering from top institute/college - IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani etc.

- 3+ Years of experience
