Process Excellence Manager - AM/M/SM

About Us :

- Our goal as Ola Electric, is to enable and maximise the number of electric kms delivered through our ecosystem of products and services. We start with India but our ambitions are global.

- E-Rickshaws provide a unique opportunity to build out our charging infrastructure. E-ricks deliver over 50 million kms of electric mobility in India everyday - no other form factor comes close. As such, our near term goal is to launch a swapping network that serves a disproportionate share of e-rickshaw market (100,000 in 2 years)

- That said, we are building our batteries and charging infrastructure in a way that it can serve all sorts of electric vehicles tomorrow including 2Ws, our own 3W and potentially small 4Ws

Roles and Responsibilities :

- The Process Excellence Manager, will focus on process improvement part on corporate functions as well as collaborate with product teams to get processes automated for operational processes as well. he/ she will be part of process excellence team which will focus on overall improvement and standardization and transformation of processes to bring the culture of data based decision making and operations.

Role description :

- Plan, lead and implement cross-functional strategic initiatives

- Be analytical and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and problem solve across multiple projects

- Ability to structure a large amount of information within a process framework

- Understand and document the current working process in details (review, document and assess critical business processes)

- Facilitating process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users

- Review and develop current and future state process maps

- Ensure that SOPs are created/updated for driving key processes under the transformation

- Evaluate work flows and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, maximize efficiency and reduce waste

- Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities

- Track the working process and evaluate its effectiveness

- Drive operational improvements to deliver cost, OTD, product quality & customer satisfaction improvement

- Develop criteria and Conduct process audits on ground

- Publish observations and develop roadmap for implementation as well as achieve compliance

- Help operations and other functions to create benchmarks within/ outside to measure performance and identify improvement targets

- Facilitate in creating training material wrt. respective teams for field executives

Experience & Skills :

- Process transformation experience

- S&O and Project management exposure

- Exceptional analytical skills with great attention to detail

- Ability to interpret complex, large data sets in easy to understand narratives

- Ability to manage and influence remote teams in a multi-geography operation

- Experience in implementing short and long action plans to deliver KPIs

- Experience of using statistical tool (Minitab/ Matlab)

- Strong computer skills (e.g. Excel, Visio)

- Working/ exposure to in automotive industry

Qualifications : MBA
