OFSAA Subject Matter Expert - IFRS (4-10 yrs)
We are hiring with following skills
- Delivery of successful Financial Control & Reporting framework required for IFRS 9
- IFRS9 through being the Primary interface between Stakeholders across various banking Departments - Accounts (CAO), Risk Management (RMD), Corporate Strategy & Planning (CSP) and Treasury (eCores) using OFSAA
- Converting the IFRS9 Finance Business Requirements in to a detailed Functional specifications as required by the Technology development team.
- Design and implementation of a Target operating Model for IFRS9 across Bank including between various departments in Finance as well as Business clusters
- Coordinate parallel runs for Finance and Risk including identification, tracking and remediation of data sourcing and data reconciliation issues identified
- Interfacing with other Banking Departments to ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of IFRS 9 Impairment text and policy for the Financial Control function
- Ensure sufficient level of detail and quality plans are prepared and maintained, providing regular and accurate reports on progress against plan to stakeholders as appropriate.
- Identify, assesses and manage project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate via the agreed governance framework.
- Ensures that all project status reporting is accurate, informative and timely, and directly provides progress reports as agreed as part of the governance framework at agreed intervals
