Officer-Operational, Risk Control Self Assessments, compliance & control - Banking & finance
Job Purpose:
The job requires supporting the Risk team in preparing and providing meaningful data to various internal customers so that appropriate decisions can be taken to help organize its overall success.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Responsible for Risk Control Self Assessments (RSCA) for various business functions and overseeing control validation testing in all key areas.
- Maintaining the operational loss database and analyze the reasons for such losses on a quarter on quarter basis.
- Conducting risk assessments of the new initiatives.
- Daily review of exception reports, identifying and reporting risk issues, including any compliance or suitability issues.
- Assisting in the development of policies/procedures designed to ensure compliance with all industry/regulatory requirements.
- Analyzing the fraud, forgery, mis-selling cases and formulating the mitigation strategy.
