Role Overview : The Financial Planning & Analytics Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by providing valuable insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations that drive informed business decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and generating actionable reports to assist in optimizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine financial forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans.

- Create and maintain sophisticated financial models to project business performance, incorporating variables such as revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.

- Perform thorough variance analysis between actual financial results and forecasts/budgets, identifying key drivers and providing insights to management.

- Contribute to the preparation of management and investor presentations by providing accurate financial data, analysis, and commentary.

- Participate in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance and track against strategic goals.

- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.

- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial data, reconciliations, and reporting.

- Continuously evaluate financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.

- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and market factors that could impact the company's financial performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

- CA/CMA/ PG (Finance)

- Proven experience of 3 to 6 years in financial planning, analysis, and modeling roles.

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling tools/software is desirable.

- Solid understanding of financial statements, key financial metrics, and accounting principles.
