Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:

- Participate in the Fixed Asset Accounting and reporting functions for Ocwen entities.

- Ensure monthly closing process and account reconciliations, per RTB, are completed within the preset timelines.

- Collaborating with other finance team members on activities/projects connected within the overall framework of Controllership.

- Working with the tax team to ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory (government) compliances

- Assist in the development and maintenance of a system of internal controls that are Sarbanes-Oxley compliant.

- Handle escheat accounting involving monitoring the funds adding to escheat balance and suggesting ways to reduce the accumulations.

- Working with escheat consultant to esnure reporting and remittance is completed within the established timeline.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA). Additional CPA qualification preferred.

- 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in Controllership, Finance functions.

- Ability to work independently, with minimal day-to-day supervision.

- Flexible and proactive, with a high degree of decision making capacity.

- Experience working with USGAAP, working knowledge of IGAAP and IFRS preferable.

- Good conceptual and analytical skills.

- Smart with good interpersonal and communication skills.
