Object Edge is a fast growing, US-based consulting firm that helps large, Fortune 2000 businesses deliver digital experiences for their clients, employees, and partners. With over 160 team members across three continents, we are growing at 30% per year and need help to grow our greatest asset - our people!

In order to meet our demand, Object Edge is looking for a senior Lead for Talent Recruitment and Retention in our India and Brazil offices. Future growth opportunities include potential Director and VP roles. As we have never held internal recruiting positions (we have always outsourced this role), we are looking for a dynamic, people-focused, results-oriented recruiting professional that has at least five (5) years of proven experience in creatively searching for top talent. You will have an incredible amount of autonomy, direct access to senior leadership, and have the freedom to creatively solve one of the world's more pressing challenges "how do I find A-level talent in other companies and convince them that their lives will be better here?"

You will be administratively reporting to The Head of India operations and functionally report to the CEO, at our HQ in USA. We are offering a generous compensation package, as well as the option to permanently work from home.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Technical Practice managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled and technical requirements for those jobs.

- Work with other leads of talent recruitment and retention in other geographies to create strategic hiring plans.

- Draft suitable JDs and Job postings.

- Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.

- Source candidates from other companies, databases, internet recruiting resources, networking, job fairs, media advertisements, recruiting firms or employee referrals etc.

- Design and refine search queries and filters to generate lists of matching profiles from databases.

- Pre-screen candidates with detailed phone screens, evaluating candidate's compatibility with specific job requirements, ensuring a right fit before referring them to practice managers.

- Schedule initial interviews and follow up interviews for successful candidates.

- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to keep them apprised of the status of their applications. Form strong relationships with past applicants and passive candidates for future opportunities.

- Negotiate salaries with candidates and pay rates with subcontracting companies to fill and close the position.

- Conduct background checks.

- Build and maintain candidate relationships to ensure a consistent talent pipeline.

- Analyze new recruiting technologies, sourcing tools and interviewing processes to improve success rates.

- Oversee applicant tracking processes and requirements.

- Maintain updated status of all candidates from the point of adding them to the pipeline till their joining the company.

- Keep tabs on current market rates for salaries at all levels and recommend revisions to internal salary structures on a quarterly basis.

- Build a pool of qualified list of contractors for various positions and technologies after understanding the company requirements; so that we can draw resources from this pool when the need arises.

- Draft contract documents using company standard templates for contractors. Maintain proper folio of all contracts and SOWs.

- Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.

Required Skills/Abilities :

- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology and PG degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management.

- At least FIVE years of IT recruiting experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Good interpersonal, negotiation and decision-making skills.

- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.

- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices

- Familiarity with various job portals.

- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Proven track records of success in locating, identifying and closing top candidate talent with a special emphasis on hard to-fill positions.

- Proven track records of success in closing various positions in a time bound manner.

- Proven ability to self-manage multiple positions by sourcing, screening, qualifying the right candidate, coordinating interviews, negotiating and closing positions
