JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : - Perform in-depth analysis on business model to recommend on industry outlook and borrower's ability to repay - Strategic mindset to understand the entire value chain of an industry and company, and ability to connect backward and forward linkage to help build a robust revenue and cost model - Interact with multiple credit teams to understand credit requests and help fill data gaps to ensure meaningful and detailed credit analysis - Understand and suggest drivers for relevant sectors and proactively build out a network of information sources to incorporate into credit analysis - Understand and analyse the cost structure and cost drivers of borrowers from varied industries to help build a robust cost model - Ability to link industry macro indicators with borrowers - credit story to augment the analysis - Conducting market sizing and contribute in developing strategies for entering into new geographies and markets DESIRED SKILLS : - Experience in strategic thematic research across sectors and geographies - Strong financial analysis skills with an ability to analyse huge financial data sets including financial statements and ratios - Thorough understanding of various data bases such as Bloomberg, Euromonitor, Capital IQ, Factiva, Orbis and many more. - Flexibility to adjust quickly to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid changes - Demonstrate decision-making ability and responsible actions within the parameters of the role without a need to be directed - Strong research skills using online and secondary tools with attention to details and high on rigor - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Proficiency in Power Point, Excel and Word - Team player and an ability to meet long and short-term deadlines with flexible working hours KEY ATTRIBUTES: - Hands on attitude, willing/capable to understand the big picture - Personal drive (proactive), flexible, creative (thinks out of the box), result driven, responsible, curious, team player and fast learner - Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong Academic Background Qualifications - Masters / Bachelor's in Strategic and Business Research, Statistics, Consulting, Business Management or related field
