MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide end to end technical development opportunities to all credit team members. To enhance their knowledge, help develop their technical skill base and enrich the organization in measurable terms.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1. Is responsible for a range of projects necessitating following technical skills development plan:
A. Credit analysis & risk assessment
B. Financial modeling and analysis
C. Covenant setting
D. Report writing skills
E. Multiple sector exposures- creating sector-specific modules on at least 5 sectors to begin with - not limited to but could be leisure & hospitality, healthcare, professional services, IT
F. Credit analysis
G. Structured thought process
H. Excel skills
I. Understanding of financial and market research databases
J. Client communication
K. Internal communication including technical feedback sharing
L. Develop training modules relevant to OakNorth and ACORN value propositions
2. Conduct training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and reports; understanding specific functional requirement within 1 month of joining.
3. Maintain a safe training environment by following organization standards within the regulatory environment that the company functions in.
4. Schedule, coordinate and deliver training modules & workshops within expected timelines.
5. To achieve a training feedback score of at least 90% for each coursework completed.
6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training modules & workshops and make changes as needed to improve future results - regularly review the coursework to keep it aligned with the industry standards.
7. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards- to be assessed by respective team TLs quarterly.
8. Develop master course documentation, manuals, and other learning resources.
9. Remain up-to-date with new product information- to be regularly updated on any new products the company is launching or any new sector expertise that is required to be added to the skill base.
10. Create a learning that translates into on the job skills and if required, provide on the job support for seamless knowledge transfer.
