Job Description - The O2C tower head is responsible for the entire set up (from scratch) and management of the O2C tower. Overall performance and strategic direction of the O2C tower within the Captive Service Center of a specialty chemicals Manufacturing and Production company. The O2C Tower Head leads a team of O2C professionals to ensure that overall delivery of services is within agreed KPIs and SLAs. Located in Navi Mumbai

The client is in the manufacturing and production industry being a global specialty chemicals leader. With revenues in excess of 6bn USD. They operate in more than 80 countries globally and are setting up a global captive centre in Navi Mumbai. Markets and consumers worldwide rely on their essential solutions to manufacture everyday products such as personal care, agriculture and food, pharmaceuticals, building products, paints and coatings, etc.

Description

The key responsibilities of the O2C tower head include-

1. O2C tower leadership:

- Setting up of the O2C tower from scratch, responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of the O2C tower


- Playing a critical role in building the capability and standards of the global business center

- Managing the tower performance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and ensuring service excellence


2. Service excellence & people management:

- To ensure the overall delivery of services meets/ exceeds the agreed KPIs and SLAs, and is within a strong internal control framework

- Provide the environment for the O2C team to achieve and sustain best practices in effectiveness, quality delivery and efficiency which covers end-to-end O2C delivery through the center



- Develop and track SLA to ensure service delivery excellence



- Work in close coordination with the R2R, P2P, center head and senior global stakeholders to develop and implement best in industry practices, and achieve process and delivery excellence within the center


3. Innovation & continuous improvement:

- Create a mindset of innovation aimed at constantly challenging the norm to drive business value

- Responsible for ensuring a disciplined approach to operational excellence/performance management is in place and evolves over time



- Driving ongoing continuous improvement within O2C to improve profitability


Profile

The successful O2C tower head:

- Mandatory: Has led the set up of an O2C tower and managed it

- Expertise in Order To Cash processes, including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools

- Having minimum of 10-12 years of direct order to cash management experience including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures, and tools



- Education: Accounting Professional Accreditation (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)/ Master's (or MBA) degree in Management, Business, Finance, Accounting.


- Candidates from Chemicals, pharma, manufacturing industry, or who have worked with such clients are preferred

- Experience working with multiple Key global stakeholders

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information

- Transformation and value creation oriented
