Nykaa - Assistant Manager - Sourcing

- He/ She is responsible to develop the overall sourcing strategy for a product category he or she is responsible for.

- Ensuring margin expectations of the business are met and timely intakes of products. Is, also responsible for managing vendors and management expectations. Work closely with stake holders to ensure T&A adherence.

- To work with the Design Manager / Head of Design to ensure products are sourced and designed to a price point.

- Work towards margin enhancement

- Set up a scalable price benchmarking process and drive inputs to improve price competitiveness for the brand.

- Regularly track Competitions activities and consumers needs and buying pattern.

- Work with vendors for Product Development and costing.

- Ensure timely delivery of all inventory through consistent communication and follow-up with vendors.

- Work closely with vendors to develop an in-depth understanding of the supply chain, proactively encourage best practice and improve product quality

- Negotiating the terms of the contract with suppliers, maintain business relationships and collaborate with existing and new suppliers for business expansion

- Minimize the production cost and be involved in product check and quality checks.

- Partner with Brand, Design and key suppliers to develop and innovate new products

- Should understand the market and product mix offered by competitive brands.

- Understand market gaps and work to fulfill the same.

- Range planning along with Design and effective vendor management.

- Resolve issues in a timely manner while working to continuously improve and create internal and external processes and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sourcing role, minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in a relevant category would be added advantageous.

- Must have a bachelors degree in Fashion business management / design
