The desired candidate should be an experienced marketing & brand specialist - preferably from the technology, media & entertainment space with both B2B and B2C exposure. The principal goal for the position will be to create a brand visibility that evokes trust, stickiness, aspiration, and a value for the entire spectrum of the stakeholders. Being skilled in digital branding marketing approaches, will be the highlight for the position, along with being adept at traditional/offline approaches, such as print. This is a senior management role reporting to the MD & CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- To develop a strategy framework, clearly defining the measurable goals, that can be reviewed at annual and quarterly levels.
- To create and execute advertising that is in support of the business's and sales team's initiatives through media planning, creative development, metrics, market research, and vendor management.
- Creating all forms of marketing - Interactive marketing, social media marketing, direct marketing campaigns, advertising, sales collateral, press releases, and executive presentations.
- Effectively collaborate with the decision makers to expedite the execution of the plans.
- Work with franchisees and partners to ensure effective local to hyperlocal brand building.
- Monitors the competitive activity in the market as well as conducting gap analyses which will avail the business a competitive advantage. Also integrates PR processes in brand marketing campaigns that ensures maximization of ROI.
- Overall responsibility of all creative output across the country.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Master's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration with a minimum of 15 years of work experience in a similar capacity; preferably at a technology, media or entertainment company.
- A work experience in a similar business vertical, as the company is involved in, will be preferred, though not a requirement. Although, a bouquet of success stories needs to be demonstrated in terms of building momentum for a brand's awareness, consumer acquisition and delivering sustainable improvements in marketing campaigns' ROI.
- Being skilled in digital branding marketing approaches will be the highlight along with traditional/offline approaches such as print.
- A strong research & customer orientation coupled with analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills will be mandatory.
- Strong grasping power to understand the business and its requirement.
- A good team leader with prior experience in building & managing a team.
