Your Strategic Goals and Responsibilities : - Partner with business leaders in making business decisions that enhance performance of the company and improve the financial systems that support the business in achieving its goals and that comply with the regulatory requirements - Don the business hat for growing the Lending business of Novopay as a performant and robust portfolio, where growth and quality of the portfolio both matters. Your role will be to mitigate risk & work with the Business head to build a good quality portfolio - Monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity as well as long-term sustainability of the company Ownership of the tax compliance & oversee the financial reporting, controls, coordinating audits (internal & external) - Ability to manage Investors, boardroom support, prepare and present MIS reports etc and manage due diligence, fundraising and related exposure and working with investment bankers and concluding deals. - Support legal contract reviews and code of conduct adherence - Support on Fund raising activities, both debt and equity for Novopay and its subsidiaries - Play an active role in acquisition / application for Novopay to acquire NBFC license. Manage RBI based regulatory reporting - Manage capital adequacy and capital risk Manage capital raising activities for Novopay Lending / NBFC What does it take? - A result oriented tech savvy, Qualified CA (with MBA in Finance preferred) having 8+ years of experience in the areas of Corporate finance, Accounting and controls, Planning and analysis, Budgeting and variance reporting, Costing and cost controls, Working capital management etc, in a Technology company, preferably in Fintech / internet companies. - A game changer with deep sense of business acumen and ability to understand and design complex business structures, Planning, problem solving and decision making ability in the areas of Companies Act, Ind AS, IFRS, IFC, IT, GST, FEMA, ESI, PF and other statutory compliances, ability and experience in preparing corporate policies. - Experience in risk management and handling of lending portfolios in the retail lending domain. - Experience and ability to represent before all the Statutory Authorities and Trade Associations. - Experience in vetting legal contracts and negotiation of contractual terms for various types of agreements including funding agreements with investors. - Strong in systems, process and controls and ability to provide domain expertise for Fintech software designing. - A very good interpersonal skill, a team player and guide with excellent communication ability with management, team, cross functional heads etc and a strong negotiator with third parties. - For now given the pandemic, we are working from home. Once we resume office, the base work location will be Bangalore.
