CONEXTS Consulting PMOaaS (PMO as a Service) integrates people, process, and technology solutions to deliver consistent, scalable, and cost-effective project management office operations to projects, programs, and portfolios across Novartis. The service is available to projects and programs of varying scale and complexity through controlled configuration and customization of the offering to meet unique project needs.

The role of a Principal Consultant is a global role with responsibility for leading internal PMOaaS specialists who will support the delivery of strategic programs across Novartis. The role is critical in ensuring that the internal customer relationship is proactively managed, and the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the lifecycle of the project. The role is part of the PMOaaS leadership group and works on the sustainability of the team, including developing a pipeline of strategic projects and building the desired culture within the team.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to

- Build and manage key stakeholder relationships and work with account managers, business partners and internal customers to- Understand and build the PMOaaS opportunity pipeline and work to convert this into projects ,Identify and drive opportunities to expand the PMOaaS offerings ,Accountable for the quality of delivery for multi-disciplinary program and global project teams so that they-Deliver successful PMOaaS assignments and achieve successful outcomes within scope, budget, and timeline.

- Ensure project deliverables are properly designed and implemented according to the relevant project methodology and approach agreed with internal project stakeholders, managing project risks, where required, Oversee management of the project portfolio through regular status reporting and stakeholder management updates

- Line manage PMOaaS teams, mentoring and coaching, and working on their career and capability development plans and journeys, Lead internal initiatives and innovation that contribute to achieve our aspiration to become the best internal PMOaaS team, Develop and support PMOaaS tools and methodologies for delivering projects

- Lead with our Novartis leadership values of being Inspired, Unbossed, Curious, and having Integrity, The role will require occasional travel to Novartis locations

- Operational Results- Team utilization within agreed ranges, Hiring as planned

- Strategy/Customer Focus: Business value generated, Client experience and NPS

- Capabilities & Expertise-Team culture (OurVoice), Capability and team development, Percentage adoption of methods

- Soft Skills-Level of collaboration - typically works at PEC-1 level and across CONEXTS / CTS, Strong ability to develop and manage internal stakeholder relationships, Ability to take control of ambiguous situations and drive practical change

Minimum requirements :

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

- Masters in either a Science, Engineering, or IT with and MBA (or equivalent)

- Experience in handling projects in the capacity of PM/PMO.

- ~15-25 people, 95% based in all four of our NGSCs

- Impact across all parts of Novartis. The PMOaaS team supports all business groups with strategic projects
