Novartis - Manager - Market Access (5-12 yrs)

The purpose of the role is to implement the Country Pharma Organization (CPO) Market Access tactics and frameworks. This involves working with other Novartis functions and payer reimbursement and listing specialists in designated therapeutic areas to achieve sustained access for all eligible patients. It requires the collection and analysis of data and a contribution to the generation of insights, for Market Access submissions that jointly create value for customers, patients and Novartis. 

1) Contribute to and lead the implementation of a sustainable CPO MA strategy & operational plan for assigned therapeutic area and brands. 

2) Lead projects to submit MA dossiers to regulatory authorities applying high standards of operational excellence.

3) Use a deep understanding of customer needs and the competitive and regulatory environment to provide early relevant input into local product development decisions.


4) Coordinate MA activities & plans across functions.

5) Identify and communicate changes and trends in the local regulatory environment to support local brand team decisions.

6) Share MA best practice from other CPOs, in own CPO and customize Global/Regional tools for local implementation.

7) Identify key stakeholders and their requirements to enable sustained patient access for new and in-market products.

8) Collaborate cross-functionally to develop early accurate forecasts of product value with supporting evidence that contribute to the joint creation of value propositions.

9) Build and leverage strong networks and relationships with key customers, key opinion leaders and individual and institutional key decision makers, to optimize the positioning and messaging of Novartis products and facilitate the co-creation of value propositions with customers.
