Manager - BPC

Job Description :

To support the business within a country with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts etc (typically very large to large revenue) and may coordinate a team of specialists. To act as a Business Partner for BPA within a country, providing insightful and value-added analysis and decision support to the management team.

The individual would get an opportunity to work and manage business planning and analysis support, including but not limited to month-end closing, management reporting, budgeting/forecasting and contribute in the digital transformation initiatives Drive innovation, standardization and simplification of planning systems exhibiting high levels of people agility and excellent communication skills Ensuring that systems are kept up to date with management planning and reporting requirements

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Ensure the operational conversion of the BPA strategic goals within a dedicated area of the business. Provide management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests, and ensure timely and accurate information gathering.

- Perform analysis to evaluate risks or opportunities; make recommendations to mitigate these risks. Manage and provide financial analysis and decision making support for a investment/project in a domain.

- Ensure ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured, and drive early warning for re-direction of resources with Business Partners. Provide accurate operational information and advice to support the annual budgeting, rolling forecast and Strategic Planning processes. Ensure integrity of data provided by commercial teams, and provides value added; provides recommendations on forecast accuracy improvement.Provide well managed and quality financial analysis in order to improve business case proposals and profitability tracking.

- Continually improve and streamline existing management reporting processes and support the definition and implementation of lean processes to meet the changing demands of the business. May supervise the performance and development of a small team of BPA specialists. Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt. Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable).

- Identify key strategic topics and drive innovative solutions, automation of standard BPA(Business Planning and Analysis) processes. Actively contribute in BPC system integration to facilitate month end close of planning modules for Sandoz Tech Ops (STO)

- Handle requests from customers and work closely with STO BPA's. Planning cycle management in IFP - BPC planning application for STO. Ability to support the budgeting, planning and forecasting cycles, managing user queries and support business users in day-to-day activities related to business planning

- Manage enhancements, Collaborate with Application Architect and business lead to investigate and define solutions that deliver business value. Organize online and classroom-training sessions, prepare and deliver effective presentations. Manage deliverables and operational activities smoothly with high quality and within stipulated time and costs. Lead client conversation and manage key stakeholders, ensure regular communication and review meetings with team and other stakeholders.

- Liaise with customer groups and other IT functions to optimize user support. Ensure close collaboration with appropriate system owners and key stakeholders in business. Contribute in design, test and execution of calculation logics for planning activities and support data flow & integration of SAP based applications. Ability to anticipate, manage and resolve issues. Create/enhance planning reports & input templates using EPM

Minimum requirements :

What you'll bring to the role:

- Process management Influencing without authority Relationship Management Strong customer orientation Data Management & Systems

- Financial Planning, Forecasting and Benchmarking (P&L/Balance Sheet/Cashflow)

- Chartered Accountant or ICWA or Master's Degree in Finance 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with exposure to BPC Implementation and Support Expertise knowledge and experience in EPM 10 Reporting, MS Excel, BPC functionalities and interfaces

- Understanding of ERPs preferably SAP, BI and the underlying sub-systems Awareness & understanding of Finance IT systems, architecture & data flows would be desirable

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), self-directed and keen on learning
