Northern Arc Capital - Senior Associate - Risk Analytics & Modelling (2-3 yrs)
JOB OBJECTIVE:
- As a member of analytics team that measures and manages portfolio of debt and structured finance investments, to be responsible for designing, building, and executing different analytical models directly impacting key business decisions.
- Enable data driven insights for business decisions related to retail portfolio through complex business intelligence solutions.

- Design and develop BI applications and dashboards to enable data driven decision making across multiple teams
- Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help generate insights for organization success.
- Coordinate across multiple teams to understand requirements and convert them into BI based outputs
- Manage, analyze, and report key performance metrics through manual and automated data collection methods.
- Build data warehouse for retail portfolio, and overlay BI application on top of warehouse
- Contribute to several on-going risk analytics and modelling processes and new initiatives.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of various performance metrics for Northern Arc's retail portfolio
SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:
Minimum experience:
- 2-3 years of working in analytics function of an organization, with specialization in BI. Ability to understand BI requirements and build complex BI applications independently is mandatory.
- Experience in finance domain will be preferred
Minimum qualification:
- Masters/ Bachelor's Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/ Engineering Skills required:
- Mandatory technical skills - Expertise in Power BI, SQL, R/Python
- Power BI - connecting different data sources (Database, Excel etc), applying several ETL techniques and building complex visualizations on processed data
- Connecting Power BI to different modules built in R/Python
- Expertise in ETL tools is mandatory
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure, to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
