JOB OBJECTIVE :

To work with the structuring team to understand client and investor requirements and work towards structuring transactions suited for them. To work on executing transaction documents for structured products and capital market products. To thoroughly understand regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with these requirements while executing transactions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Northern Arc Capital is looking for an Associate with 0-2 years of experience who will be a part of the structured finance products and deal execution desk.

The Associate - Structuring will be primarily responsible for modelling structured finance products and front-ending deal execution. This would encompass :

- Financial modelling for structured debt products

- Executing plain vanilla and structured finance transactions;

- Preparing legal documentation and offer documents for capital market issuances

- Preparing investment proposals

- Extensively using MS Excel and other financial modelling tools to support the Structuring team in analysis.

- Handling post transaction requirements - product compliance and to maintain the comprehensive compliance database

SPECIFICATIONS : QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES:

Minimum Qualifications:

MBA or Post Graduate in Management from a premier institute/ CA

Minimum Experience :

0-2 years of experience in credit analysis, financial modelling & analytics or corporate finance (in investment banks, banks, NBFCs, investment funds or rating agencies).

Skills Required :

- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills

- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

- A sound understanding of financial services

- A keen eye for detail

- The ability to stretch, multitask and deliver under pressure

- Problem-solving ability

- Strong work ethic

- The ability to be a highly organized self-starter

- The drive to constantly innovate, improvise and add value
