Noon - Head/Vice President - Pricing

Noon.com is GCC's biggest online marketplace with millions of sellers selling their products on Noon.com. The Head of Pricing is responsible for driving Pricing experience of the platform leading to maximisation of customer growth and GMV growth of the Platform .

The role needs leadership in driving -

1) high-end pricing analytics and building marketplace pricing Infrastructure

2) cross-functional programs cutting several teams within Category management, Business Finance, and Marketing and

3) operational rigor to drive day to day governance of Pricing of the Commerce Platform with varying fitness parameters by Categories and time period sustainably

- He/she will also lead a team of high performance analysts based out of Dubai and India. Will also be responsible to manage providers that help us generate competitive data and build consumption pipelines for quick actionability.

- He/She should like working with sales and marketing teams and drive leadership to shape the end to end thinking on pricing Philosophy for different segments of the platform.

- he/she should be a change leader and should enjoy working in a highly ambiguous environment, be self driven and with strong ability to conceptualise and drive new initiatives .

Skills

- Strong understanding of e-commerce dynamics, understanding of Supply and demand

- Strong Financial and business acumen and ability to manage health thru numbers

- Should enjoy working with Data and data tools like SQL, Spreadsheet Modeling, Python etc

- Excellent articulation skills

- Must be from tier -1 Engg / Management Institute with at least 7+ years of cross functional experience in e-commerce, consulting, retail or analytics with good exposure of sales and marketing

- Demonstrated Experience of working under pressure when needed is a plus, any start-Up exposure will command a premium over other candidates
