Roles and Responsibilities :
- This role specifically includes taking responsibility for the management of vendor legal contracts for the EMEA region on Nomura's vendor management system (VMsystem).
- Responsibilities include working with Nomura legal counsel (including the Head of Commercial Legal for EMEA), vendor management personnel, service owners and procurement to identify key legal clauses in vendor contracts and to ensure they are reflected on the VM system in accordance with Nomura policy and regulation.
- The ability to critically analyse key data relating to vendor contracts in conjunction with Nomura stakeholders and the ability to represent the Nomura Legal function in a confident and articulate way.
Mandatory :
- Excellent analytical and legal skills, an eye for detail and exceptional drafting skills.
- Excellent command over the English language and first-rate communication skills
- Ability to apply practical solutions to problems
- Good team player
Experience :
- 1 to 3 years
- Operational / Business
- Administrative background evidence of data management is required
- Experience of working in a large organisation
