Lead, Data Architect with expertise with big data platform for state data policy implementation

JD:

- This role involves setting the strategy for state-wide data architecture and directing technical architecture for delivery of the target state. An expert in databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL), data modelling, data transformation, MDM, data storage, data access, data governance, and data quality systems.

- Responsible for the design and implementation of state-wide data strategy, ensuring the strategy supports the current and future needs of the State.

- Designing the State's enterprise data management framework describing the processes used to plan, specify, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge data.

- Balancing short-term and long-term needs to ensure that the architecture can scale and evolve accordingly.

- Crystalize Data architecture requirements by participating in activities that take place during application ideation, application design, and application implementation.

- Be an active contributor to Data Governance practices and influence the adoption of data standards. Develop key performance measures for data integration and data quality.

- Provide technical oversight to Application/Solution Architects in creating solutions adhering to the enterprise architecture and data governance standards.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.

- 15 years of Data architecture design work experience involving both transactional and analytical workload.

- Experience in requirement analysis and knowledge of data security, data privacy, data management, data governance, and data lineage.

- Database development and support skills such as Logical Data Modelling, Physical data modelling, DDL, DML, and Database Tuning with Proven Hands-on experience in different types of database management systems (SQL as well as NoSQL)

- SQL development and database administration.

Certifications:

- TOGAF certification preferred

- Certified Cloud Solution Architect in AWS/Azure/GCP preferred
