We've now found product-market fit and are growing quickly. - Rapid business growth necessitates that the organisation adapts to the demands of a scaling operation. We've recently crossed 40 employees and could have 100 by the end of the year. This fast growth inevitably puts a strain on the established team and practices, and such a shift is fraught with risk. - We are looking for an empathetic, diligent and dynamic HR leader to spearhead our efforts to manage NIRA's organisational growth, and help us establish ourselves as a place where people aspire to work. - The successful candidate will work closely with the founders, other team leads, and our existing HR team to devise and execute a strategy to achieve our talent and organisational objectives. Roles and Responsibilities : - Oversee the growth of the talent base, and workplace environment in the company so that we're maintaining cohesion and aligned to the company mission. - Creation of organisational structure(s) that enables efficiency, while maintaining the flexibility required in a fast changing environment. - Ensuring that the company is compliant with all relevant employment laws. - Imbibe our values of collaboration, transparency, integrity, and boldness in our workplace, and foster a culture of excellence. - Contribute to organisational and financial planning. - Talent acquisition. People are our most valuable asset. Lead the way not only with working with founders and hiring managers to fill the required roles, but also create a hiring process designed to sift out the best candidates both from a competence and cultural fit perspective. - Devise and construct a total rewards programme. Beyond remuneration, think of a full suite of comp &amp; benefits, including bonus and recognition programmes. In designing such a programme, solve for alignment with overall company objectives, and be thinking about how we want to position ourselves vs. existing market benchmarks or standards. - Design and implement an employee performance management/ review programme. Also create mechanisms through which employees can share their feedback about the company. We want to get better too! - Lay the foundation for a learning &amp; development programme for our team. We want our employees to grow as people when they work at NIRA. - Make NIRA the place where everyone wants to work! Constantly think about how we can improve the efficiency of the organisation, and improve our employee experience. - Grievance management; there will inevitably be times when people are unhappy or issues arise! Should Have : - 10+ years of hands on experience in handling Recruitment/HR Generalist/HR Operations role. Prior experience in a startup environment will be viewed favourably. - Experience with HR administration and general exposure / knowledge of various HR functions from across employee lifecycle (e.g., policy, compensation, employee relations, benefits, performance management, etc.). - Demonstrated leadership in either a team lead or manager role. You must be able to manage, motivate, coach, and hopefully inspire others. - First class written and verbal communication skills. - Extremely strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You'll be juggling multiple tasks and it's important to be able to prioritise and execute them effectively. - Ability to wear many hats at once! - Very strong interpersonal skills. You must be able to build rapport and relationships with employees, founders and other stakeholders in the company. - Ability to ensure confidentiality and discretion when managing sensitive issues. - Flexibility and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment. - Quantitatively literate - we are a finance company after all! Nice to have : - MBA from top college specialising in HR (XLRI, TISS etc.) - Experience in a MNC/ top-tier company which has created a good understanding of best practices
