Purpose of the Job : The position is responsible for Risk Management initiatives both internal and external.


Key responsibilities :

Risk Management :

- Development, implementation and monitoring of enterprise-wide risk management and internal control framework basis 3 line of defense governance structure.

- Frame Policies and Processes for various elements of Risk at enterprise level.

- Internal control framework - process level and entity level controls (PLC & ELC).

- Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) across organization and reporting the updated heat map to RMCE, RMCB and Board.

- Monitor Operational Risk, Review incidents or operational losses, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and take up for process/ control enhancements

Proxy Voting :

- Establish framework & rules and ensure strict implementation across teams.

- Voting decisions in the best interest of the unit holders.

- Ensure zero misses of votes.

- Ensure timely disclosure of votes cast on website and annual scrutinizer's certification.

- Present internal analysis and peer analysis to stewardship committee

Risk Transfer ; Insurance Policies :

- Ensure timely renewal of all insurance policies (liabilities, property, gold, etc.) with adequate coverage and in cost effective manner.

- Present to the board and trustees on coverages and exclusions etc., on key policies

Internal Audits & SEBI Inspection :

- Ensure comprehensive, latest and risk based internal audit scope, appointment / re-appointment of auditors, etc., on time by the board and audit committees.

- Ensure reports are closed on time along with previous ATRs

- Placing SEBI inspection report to board of AMC and trustees with management comments.

Behavioral Competencies :

- Result Oriented and ability to communicate the results clearly

- Should be able have an independent view & being assertive

- Should be able to work with the Senior Management and Board

- Well versed with various enterprise-wide risk tools and methodologies across the investment life cycle

- Experience in Risk function of Banks or Insurance companies, Capital markets and International AMC & credit research firms

- Advanced knowledge of laws & SEBI regulatory requirements in the mutual funds industry and associated reporting and compliance & knowledge of FPI rules & regulations

- Familiarity with debt and equity mutual fund products and concepts of return and risk adjusted return
