Position: Supply Chain Operations - Transport Supply/Logistics Supply Job Location - Bangalore/Mumbai/Delhi Job Summary This role leads Managing Transport Supply across Pan India This role is responsible for executing day to day operations, partnering with transport providers and 3PLs, working collaboratively with procurement and adding value to each market in the region. The outcomes of this role are measured in: Cost Efficiency, Service and Collaborative value creating relationships This role will work with a complex range of in market stakeholders (MD, Supply, Finance, and Commercial) as well as the central Operational Excellence and CoE team. This role will have a team (4 direct reports) managing transportation planning and execution based in CoE location. He/she will need to interact across cultures &amp; have strong influence/impact within businesses and with external suppliers. He/she will also need to engage and partner with key Captive Supply Partners (3PL- s, GDBS, Procurement etc.) as well as external transport suppliers. Requirements - Capabilities, Skills &amp; Experience - Minimum 8+ years- experience as a transport manager of road freight in a manufacturing company managing multiple sites in different countries - Overall minimum 10 years of supply chain experience with strong MOVE skills and industry network - Minimum 5 years- experience of transport management at Pan India level - Demonstrable ability to engage and align stakeholders behind plans and win support for implementing change with transport suppliers - Ability to lead in environments where influence is more important than formal authority across different cultures - Demonstrable knowledge of end to end supply chain and Customer collaboration - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written combined with the ability to engage effectively at all levels in the organisation and with virtual teams - An understanding of how leading technology can enable effective logistics operations - Knowledge of TMS, GPS tracking and e-POD systems and experience of implementation of the same - Demonstrable ability to drive savings through transport optimisation - Numerate and ability to apply KPI's to drive performance management at all levels with transport suppliers Key Accountabilities -&nbsp; - Transport operations that support market requirements, all transport KPIs - Transport spend to be within budget and delivering operational savings year on year - Lead and motivate the team to deliver the CoE requirements including influencing those non direct reports - Provide expert transport knowledge and understanding of market dynamics to ensure credibility of CoE including new technologies - Develop, improve and implement fit-for-use standards across markets, deliver continuous improvement and excellence through internal/external benchmarking - Develop a synergistic relationship with PLAN and SOURCE CoE and MAKE in market to ensure delivery of overall supply excellence About Ninjacart: Ninjacart is India's largest B2B fresh produce supply chain company.
