- The executive to be hired would join the Nielsen Media & Digital team which is a part of the Nielsen Marketing Effectiveness practice.

Role Description:

Designation: Research Executive

Location: Mumbai

Unit: IRS, Marketing Effectiveness

Main Accountabilities:

Maintain a client service orientation. Manage day-to-day administration of client service and coordinating on analysis and reporting of assigned research projects.

- Identifying opportunities for research and designing the appropriate proposals plan / proposal to present to the client

- Enable fulfilment of client deliverables

- Questionnaire preparation / Information area coverage as per proposal

- Field work management of the same

- Analysis Plan; Analysis and Interpretation

- Presentation of findings

- Understand and implement all internal processes

- Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date client business profiles to be shared with senior management

- Serve as primary contact to junior level client contacts on ad-hoc analyses and understand and respond to questions on content, basic data issues/questions, report generation, etc.

- Assist senior staff in delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company's quality standards

- Assist in sales activities in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation of proposal and credential presentations

- Provide "in office" research, administrative and operational support to senior staff

- Be directly accountable for work conducted for their nominated clients in terms of analyses, charting, etc. and perform quality checks on all reports for alignment to request, accuracy and correctness

- Developing effective working relationships with customers (existing and new) through regular meetings and identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities

- Responding to customer needs or queries and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign-off

Typical Position Pre-requisites:

- Upto 18 months- experience in market research / e-commerce / telecom / media industry

- Sound understanding of Market Research concepts

- Strong Client Focus and Proactiveness

- Working knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis

- Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
