Netscribes - Technology Project Manager - Web Applications

Technology team :

The Technology team at Netscribes is 20 members strong and supports all our operations teams. The development team has 8 people, who are focused on web application development, workflow automation and data extraction technologies. The rest of the team is responsible for IT infrastructure and security. We are in the midst of expanding our development team significantly.

The entire development team is based in Mumbai, while the IT infra team is spread across Mumbai, Gurgaon, and Kolkata.

Key responsibilities :

As we expand our technology team, we are looking to onboard a Project Manager who can take end to end ownership of projects related to new and existing systems. This role will cut across technology domains and business functions and will be a stepping stone to larger roles within the Technology team.

- Manage all aspects of the project implementations including project rollouts, resource tracking, budget management, schedule development, cost/ budget analysis, cross-discipline coordination, and communications

- Manages risks, issues, and assumptions associated with projects

- Be the bridge between business teams and the development team and ensure that the systems meet the business requirements

- Build extensive relationships with outsourced vendors and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution

- Deliver projects on-time, within the scope, and within budget

- Adopt the most relevant project execution methodology and help guide the rest of the team accordingly

- Constantly scan the technology and business landscape and help identify the next set of investments that Netscribes should make to keep pace with relevant developments

Skillsets and experience :

- At least 10 years of overall IT work experience, including at least 3 years as Project Manager.

- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (asp.net, PHP, Node.js)

- Deep understanding of project management methodology (e.g. Agile, Scrum)

- Expert knowledge of Project Management and SDLC principles and practices and agile frameworks and tools like MS Projects

- Ability to work with developers and business managers to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong written and verbal communication, ability to interact with clients directly

- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an unstructured environment

Education :

- Graduation degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical streams.

- Certification(s) in project management methodologies(PMP, PRINCE II) or Agile methodologies (PMI- ACP, CSP, or equivalent) preferred
