Client Solutions Team Overview:

For the Insights Line-of-Business, we are in the process of setting up a centralized Client Solutions (CS) team. The key responsibilities of this team will include:

1) Developing proposals for all new business growth across practices. This includes new business leads/opportunities with existing clients as well as new logos; for FTE/retainer/ad-hoc work

a. This will include coordinating with relevant stakeholders in the delivery teams who can help create the solution, or bring-in the required domain/technical expertise, etc. However, the accountability of coming up with a high-quality proposal stays with the CS team

2) Maintaining (and upgrading the existing) repository of collaterals, case examples, etc. Build a searchable and self-servicing online KMS over time

3) Collaborate with the sales and marketing team and senior management of the firm on a periodic basis - to brainstorm and help develop a business development strategy road-map for Insights - and align the vision and the priorities for the CS team with that

4) Keep a tab on the sales pipeline; on a periodic basis, analyze the W/L ratio, underlying factors and suggest corrective action, conduct pricing benchmarking and provide recommendations, and so on

This team will consist of managers, assistant managers, and senior analysts; mix of home-grown and lateral hires.

Key Highlights of the Opportunity:

- This team is slated to play an extremely critical role as part of Netscribes- growth journey - and the Lead position is an extremely crucial one. This role provides:

a) High visibility, high impact - This is a critical role that has a direct impact on the top line (and the bottom line) of the firm. You will work closely with the leadership team (including the CEO, COO and SVP (Insights)) and will actively participate in designing and executing future strategies.

b) Cross-functional exposure and learning curve - You will get a chance to develop solutions for clients across sectors and geographies - leveraging your existing capabilities as well as learning new methodologies and developing new skill sets.

c) Ownership - You will own the overall client solutions team/function for all of Insights.

Independence - You will play a key role in building the function, defining/refining processes and growing/mentoring the team

Role : Lead, Client Solutions for Insights (pre-sales)

Designation: Senior Manager

LOB: Insights

Reporting to: SVP and LoB Head

Location: Kolkata / Gurgaon

Key responsibilities

As listed above:

1) Lead the solutioning and proposal development for all new business across Insights

2) Act as the strategic thought partner for senior management and sales - and drive key initiatives w.r.t. business growth

3) Act as a seamless interface between the sales and the ops teams

4) Be the SPOC for the sales team for all Insights pre-sales activities

5) Revamp/upgrade and maintain collaterals, samples, case studies, etc.

6) Develop and maintain self-service KMS

Skillsets and experience

a) Strong analytical and solutioning skills

b) Strong research skills; must have worked as a project manager (delivery) for 9+ years

c) Strong project and process management skills

d) Experience of working in a similar set-up (pre-sales team) a plus

9-13 years of relevant experience including in a team lead / managerial role

Education: MBA or equivalent
