Assistant General Manager - Accounts & Finance (CA Qualified)

Job Description:

- Managing the accounting entries and finance activities for 4 + distinct legal entities.

- Ability to manage a team of 15-20 people and working on multiple entities which includes as below

- Institute control through aging analytics on payment as well as collection.

- Validate the inventory -aging /certification/return to vendor/Adjustment.

- To coordinate monthly provision with functions.

- To lead from finance on system-based control and development.

- To control fund movement and its requirement/projections. Including managing the KPI on vendor's payments on time.

- To review Bank recompilation on weekly basis and take corrective actions.

- Vendor reconciliation and stakeholder management.

- Improvisation of existing processes, setting up controls, checks and balances and continuous monitoring of the same.

- Independently take charge of monthly, quarterly, annual closing of books

- Independently take charge of audits - Statutory, Tax, Internal, GST etc.

- Coordinating with internal auditors, statutory auditors, tax auditors and other operational and functional auditors as may be required for the business.

- Coordination with consolidation team at HO, for monthly closure of accounts and submission of the monthly financials to the Consolidation team at HO.

- Ownership and Responsibility for submission of various MIS to be submitted for HO within due dates.

- Generating Monthly MIS for the business

- Improvisation of existing processes, setting up controls, checks and balances and continuous monitoring of the same.

- Ability to Develop a Process Notes and create SOPs for the accounting systems and processes and streamlining of the processes.

- Sound knowledge in Tally (SAP knowledge will be an added advantage)

- Ability to adapt to varied accounting packages

- Vendor reconciliation and stakeholder management.

- Knowledge of IND AS

- Working knowledge of GST & Income Tax

- Positive Problem solver approach

- Knowledge of e commerce accounting is a bonus

- Taking ownership and ability to complete assigned tasks end to end.

KPI:

- Accuracy as well as timeliness of closing of monthly accounts

- Smooth closing of quarterly and annual audits, tax audit

- Minimum number of qualifications in Internal Audit

- Hygiene of accounts of 4 entities plus RRL FCs

- Reconciliations of vendor accounts

- Periodic vendor balance confirmations

- Balance confirmations with all vendors and stake holders

- Compliance with Direct & Indirect Tax laws and deadlines

- Ensuring completeness of books of account

- Keeping proper hygiene in the BS and P/L.

- No of innovations suggested for automation
