Job Title: Accounting Specialist (Work From Office)

Job Description:

- We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our team in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting.

- While experience with QuickBooks is a plus, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn about QuickBooks and are interested in working with US accounting practices.

- A background in Indian accounting practices using Tally software is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Management:

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of transactions in QuickBooks for US accounting and Tally for Indian accounting.

- Prepare and post journal entries, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.

Statutory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.

- Prepare and file necessary statutory returns, including GST, TDS, and other relevant compliance requirements for India.

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely payments.

Financial Reporting:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.

Collaboration and Support:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.

- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing queries from auditors.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and software updates for QuickBooks and Tally.

Skills Required:

- Minimum 1 years of experience in accounting, with proficiency in Tally software.

- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.

- Strong understanding of US and Indian accounting principles and statutory compliance.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
