Position Details:

Position Title: Group Corporate Finance Lead 

Function / Business: Corporate Finance

Grade: Band 2/3

Location: Mumbai HO

Position reporting to : Group Chief Finance Officer (Group CFO)

Section I: Purpose of the Role -

This role is accountable for Accounts, Corporate Taxation, and Audit along with Income Tax, GST, Statutory & Internal Audits at the group level through collaboration and supervision of the local Finance team across all the group companies. The purpose of this role is to act as a strategic adviser and enabler of strategic accounting/Audit/ Taxation practices across the group companies.

Section II: Responsibilities/Accountability Clusters and Principal Activities -

Strategic accounting:

- Implementation of strategic accounting practices across the group companies by collaborating with the local accounts team at a Group company level

Internal Audits and Controls :

- As a member of the Group finance team, develop and implement the comprehensive long-term Audit plans/ SOPs across the group companies.

- To Collaborate with group companies CFOs, their finance team, and internal audit team to handle the Issues identified and Internal controls are in place

Statutory Audits :

- To work with the external statutory auditors to identify and work on issues at the Group company level

- Understand and advise the local Finance team to handle the Audit issues identified

- Act as an internal consultant to the senior management team across Group companies to handle critical Audit issues

Taxation :

- Implementation of strategic taxation practices across the group companies by collaborating with the local accounts team at a Group company level

- Advise top management to handle tax-related matters at the group level

General :

- Act as an interim CFO for a company, whenever required

Section III: Scope of the Role

- Financial Scope / Other: Accounting, Taxation & Audit at all Group companies/Plants

- Geographical Coverage: All group companies and their plants spread across Mumbai, Pune, Ahmednagar, Dharwad, and Nashik

People Management Scope

a) Positions reporting to this position/role: Nil

b) Range of no. of Indirect Reports /Off Role: Accounting team across all the group companies

Section IV: Role Requirements/Specifications

Qualification Essential: CA

Previous Experience: 10-15 years experience in Industrial Manufacturing Setup only.

Nature of Experience

- Has a managerial capability to drive actions at Group company levels.

- At least 70 % experience in Manufacturing industries

- Handled the Corporate Finance at Multi plants or Multiple companies level
