Position : Assistant Manager - Warehouse

Base Location : Gurgaon

Warehouse Location : Hasanghar, Jaipur & Modi Nagar

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for Safety and Quality in the Warehouse

- Responsible to imbibe Safety Culture among all personnel working inside WH including 3 PL Operations team & Security Agency through regular training

- Implement Good Warehouse Practices to Labour/Supervisors/Computer operators, Etc., as warranted in the DC operations manual

- Drive Implementation of Warehouse / Workforce Compliance

- Ensure strict adherence of all activates pertaining to Labour/Statutory/Legal compliance

- Capable to Implement Lean

- Responsible to execute OTIF fulfilment of orders

- Responsible to Identify, Assign, Coach & Develop people at WH

- End User Training

a. Responsible to Provide SAP Roles / SAP Role based Training

b. Responsible to create backup for every SAP role at DC

- Maintaining Local Relationship :

a. Meeting Distributors at defined intervals to understand issues and identify resolution

b. Meeting Modern Trade Customers (WH) at regular intervals to establish contacts, understand issues & Identify resolution

c. Meeting CSD Depot to have smooth operations at CSD

d. Meeting Local transporters 

- Responsible to measure and Improve :

a. Picking Productivity

b. Unloading Productivity

c. Loading Productivity

d. Forklift/Reach Truck Productivity

e. Vehicle Turn Around Time

- Responsible Warehouse Material and Information flow optimization

- Responsible for 100% Inventory accuracy at any point in time at Bin Level/SKU Level

- Implementation of suggested Pallet Patterns and maintain LE to ensure optimum utilization of WH space

- Responsible to deliver all OBDs received till 2.00pm on day>to>basis and complete all OBDs received till 4.00PM during Month Ends

- Preparer, Monitor, Control FDC of WH and have periodic review with Branch Supply Chain Manager

- Responsible for vehicle planning, load planning, Milk run optimization & load Prioritization basis distance and transit time to optimize Cost of Distribution

- Responsible to Maximize Vehicle Fill Rate by arriving Optimal SKU Mix/Vehicle Mix & Route Optimization

- To make effective use of CARGOWIZ to arrive at Loading pattern of SKUs into the truck

- Adherence of 100% Cool Chain on Storage & Delivery

- Ensure100% adherence of Transport RFQ

- Monitor Business Allocation of Secondary transportation

- Effective use of FTL/ CPC model on case to case basis to optimize COD"

- Ability to understand the RFID/WMS logic built>in as a part of the operations

- Responsible to device Training Mechanism for new Joinees at every Role at DC including safety & GWP

- Ensure all SAP transactions are done as per the established procudures on :

a. Picking

b. Invoicing

c. Inventory Count

d. Stock Management in SAP 

- Validate all expenses incurred by WH Service provider as per agreement and ensure timely claim and payment made to WH Service provider

- Responsible for Receiving/Storage/Issuance of POS materials at WH and monitor and report POS materials lying at WH for more than 3 Months

- Ensure Ageing stocks are actioned for quicker liquidation by liaising with Branch DRP

- Ensure Strict adherence of procedure in handling Restricted and Blocked stocks at DCs

- Liaise with Cement Plants for destruction of Bad Goods

- Work very closely with the Customer Service Manager, Branch Logistics Manager and the Distribution Resource Planner to arrive at a high level of operational efficiency

- Ensure System Health Check is done at defined frequency to ensure 100% Correct data maintenanc

- Act as Single Point Contact for WH Service Provider / 3PL for all operational activities

- Responsible for Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting of KPIs and review with Branch Supply Chain Manager

- Responsible to Conduct LER and implement the recommendations/actions comes out of it.

- Ensure Tracking of DC to CD arrivals and updating of deliveries in SAP to derive On>time Delivery

- Ensure OTR process in place and closure is done with factory by sharing RCA.

- Benchmark with other WH in the country in terms of productivity/efficiency/Best Practices/Safety practices and implement

- Close Interaction with Sales Team to work on service improvements with Customers and to close complaints and issues with Customers

- E2E responsible for WH Shifting

- Liaising with local CONCOR Team to have smooth container deliveries

- Resolve any complains raised by the CDs related to any shortages / damages in the delivery. Take corrective action to resolve the complaints

- Ensure necessary documentation to be initiated for insurance formalities of the primary vehicles, which has met accident. To follow up with the insurance to get the credit for the claim amount

- Monitor Vehicle Placement/delivery performance of Transporters at DC

- To have a check list for maintaining Quality in Distribution

- Space planning & timely acquiring of additional warehouse. To ensure that the agreement are been timely renewed.
