Position Title with Designation : Executive/Senior Executive


Location : Mumbai

Reporting : Manager - Market Intelligence


Job Purpose :

- Ensuring timely dissemination of spot prices on Exchange's website and trading terminals.

- To provide comprehensive and relevant fundamental inputs relating to the commodities traded on the Exchange platform

- Visit physical markets to get the ground level information on commodity's trading behavior.

Key Accountabilities - 

a. Daily Tasks

- Coordinating with spot price polling agencies for timely dissemination of spot prices on Exchange's website and trading terminals.

- Ensuring operational TAT for various processes

- Preparing daily reports for NCDEX's internal circulation as well as submission to Regulator and Government Agencies.

- Interact with polling participants to ensure the polled prices are in line with physical market

b. Weekly Tasks

- Preparing weekly reports for NCDEX's internal circulation as well as submission to Regulator and Government Agencies.

- Carryout operational activity/analysis as per SOP

c. Monthly Tasks

- Computation and declaration of Final Settlement Price (FSP) on the expiry of futures contract of various commodities traded on NCDEX's futures platform and preparing circulars.

- Preparing monthly reports for NCDEX's internal circulation as well as submission to Regulator and Government Agencies.

- Carryout operational activity/analysis to meet TAT as per SOP

d. Adhoc Task

- Work on adhoc regulatory requirement

- Preparation of comprehensive/short term fundamental report relating to the commodities traded on the Exchange platform

- Analysis and reporting of price trends and market information

- Research from primary and secondary sources about the product being traded in order to be able to provide real time and useful information to regulators

- Spend time in markets where product is grown/traded and understand the nuances of the product - price volatility, growing patterns, historical trends, etc.

- Preparing and providing data required by different department of the Exchange

Profile :

a. Educational Qualification : Post-graduate in finance/MBA/CA (Final/Inter)

b. Previous Experience : 0-3 years

c. Industry to be hired from

d. Skills and Knowledge required

- Thorough knowledge of Derivatives
