Position Title with Designation : Analyst/Executive/Senior Executive

Your Location: Mumbai

Reporting :

- Functional Reporting: Head - Q&MS

- Administrative Reporting: Head - Q&MS

Job Purpose :

- Improve market Micro-Structure

- Automation of tasks through Matlab

- Provide quantitative research and modeling

- Design and develop new products and instruments

- Bring in advanced technology and system

Key Accountabilities :

1. Quantitative modeling and research. This would include time series modeling, scenario analysis, and model backtesting. The projects are data intensive and would require knowledge of Matlab, Excel.

2. Work on new product development. This involves working on structured products, indices, and options.

3. Understand the trading mechanisms and market microstructure. Work on a conceptualization of technology enhancements required for improving the trading platform.

4. Draw actionable conclusions from data analysis and draft reports for implementation of projects. Draft letters and reports for communicating with the regulator.

5. Automate the task in Matlab and generate new reports automatically.

6. Working closely with the product and business group in order to build a complete research and analytics based picture of every contract with a view to communicating aspects of this to the trading community.

Educational Qualification :

- A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. (Preferably from IIT's)

Previous Experience :

- 0-3 years experience in a similar role (similar role is hard to find so maybe derivatives trading, stock trading)

Industry to be hired from :

- Exchanges, Trading houses/Investment Banks, Hedge Fund, College Campus (fresher).

Skills and Knowledge Required :

- Must know Matlab

- Basic Understanding of financial markets.

- Well, verse with the advanced IT tools and computer languages.

- Comfortable working with numbers, with good attention to details.

- Good oral communication skills and analytical skills.

- Ability to learn quickly & willingness to handle multiple projects at a time.

- Flexible, hardworking, self-motivated and a willingness to see a task through to the end.
